I'm going to Disney World!

So every single time I go on a trip or something cool happens to me, I say I'm going to write a journal or blog about it. How many times have I actually written something? Exactly zero. So I'm saying this now: I will TRY to write while I'm at Disney World. I can even add family and friends to get posts emailed to them so I can keep in touch. Now of course this depends on a few factors: we have the internet in our room, and I'm not dead tired. That latter reason is typically WHY I never do what I say I will. I'm gonna try to get Grace to pressure me to do it lol. SO I suppose I might as well start with a few days ago to set the scene for when we leave tomorrow.

Grace and I like to call the Cherry Hill Mall "Our Mall" because all we like to do it walk around and visit the clothing shops where typically I buy lots of things and Grace is better then me and doesn't lol. But this particular day was a special mall visit since we were accompanied by Grace's mom and her two litter sisters, or as I like to call them the "Little Princesses". The mission? To buy a couple of Princess dresses at the Disney store of course! So we headed there (only stopping for me to poke my head into Wet Seal to flash a smile and beg for a job) and I could tell the girls were instantly obsessed with the store (they had never been in there before). So normally I try to restrict my Disney store time to about 10 minutes tops on a count of making sure I don't buy out the entire store, but we were probably in there for a good 45 minutes. I asked the ever smiling Disney employees if they happened to have a fitting room for our Princesses and although they did not he did say that we could try them on over our clothes! (: What's that? Did I say WE? Why yes, yes I did.

So I told Carola that I thought she should be Cinderella since she has the cute blonde hair like her AND because we will be eating lunch with her. Marian seemed to be partial to Sleeping Beauty (Princess Aurora, aka Briar Rose for all those other Disney peeps out there). So whose dress was I trying on then? Who else but Belle, the brunette book worm? (: I DID fit into the largest kid size of the dress, but at $50 I decided I would just stick with my good ole' nonprincess Alice of Wonderland. So yes, Marian will be wearing an Aurora dress, Carola a Cinderella dress, and Melanie will be Alice. Grace and her mom will be dressing as "civilians". ;) We did get the little slip dresses for them though because the big poofy ones would have been too hot and itchy. Needless to say, I think all of us are looking forward to Friday's lunch with Cinderella.

Well I suppose that's all for now. We leave Grace's house tomorrow at 11:30 or so (by limo?). I'm just so excited that this trip is finally here! It seemed so far away and then all of a sudden so close that I actually finished packing a few days ago...I know I'm so weird.

Hopefully I will talk to you all again soon! (:

<3 Melanie
